Cannabis destroys cancer cells

Scientists working in the UK have revealed that cannabis has the potential to destroy leukemia cells.

The team – based at Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry in London – have followed up on their previous findings that the main active ingredient in cannabis, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) has the potential to be used effectively against some forms of cancer.

Portraying cannabis as completely free of downsides is disingenuous at best.

However, in its most used form (smoked) it is likely to cause cancer because of what it is usually combined with.

I do think it should still be legalised, if anything other than the money we'd save from not locking people up and policing it and the tax money we'd make from regulating and opening up its production.

Cannabis listed as non-addictive? what the fuckery

And im sure there has been many deaths over the planet due to people driving whilst under the influence of cannabis.

But the point it's trying to make is correct. Cannabis is a much less harmful drug than alcohol or nicotine through smoking. Because it's not 'socially acceptable' by the middle classes it's illegal, even though they know fuck all about it. Same with ecstasy

I realise its not as harmful as alcohol or nicotine, im not debating that.

But that poster cant be taken seriously can it ? In the first line they state it as non-addictive. Long term use makes it addictive.

And yes, studies have shown it destroys some cancer cells, but you cant just come out and say 'CANNABIS CURES CANCER'

The majority of people who smoke it will roll it with tobacco anyway...

It's certainly less addictive than Alcohol and definitely causes less deaths.

Also, it's only addictive after very long term use, probably less so than coffee.

"That knife is perfectly safe for everyone to use, it may have potentially harmful aspects but I'm not going to list them here, it's only good good aspects, certainly better than carrying a gun, which is why I think it's a great idea that everyone should have one, so I urge everyone, kids as well, to purchase a knife, it does the world a lot of good!"

I do think Cannabis is misunderstood by a lot of people, including myself at times, there should be a more relaxed attitude to it, particularly the States, when you compare it to alcohol in particular, it seems ridiculous that one is illegal and the other is legal and heavily advertised.
