So which one has more population
There's a thread in the city discussion asking about the population living in the 100 km radius of one's city. I wonder what the figure would be for such places in China as:
Somewhere in Pearl River Delta that would yield the largest number? or similarly, somewhere in Long River Delta, or somewhere around BJ area... I'm talking about the number of people actually living there, not the registered residents, so the former can be significantly larger than the latter. |

100km would include the whole PRD more or less, i guess no one really knows how many migrant labourers there is in the PRD but i have heard numbers on total population from 48-60 million...

The real population of PRD has been mystery to myself too. I've heard figures of 15 million for Shenzhen alone, and then the 10 million + for both Guangzhou and Dongguan, and add in Foshan, HK, etc... 48 - 60 million may just be it, despite how ridiculous it may sound...
