Easysurfer,
You may try to surf a little bit more in South Coast of Spain/Tarifa, travelling will help you to change your mind and take fresh air...
By the way, do you have running water and electricity in Bradford?
I can't remember now...

I think that overall this is a fantastic project that hopefully, with future demand, be the nucleus of a cluster of skyscrapers in the northern parts of Madrid.

well 4 major towers might be enough for a while (considering the competition from my favourite mediterranean city ), but at least developers will know where to build in the future, around these 4 beauties.
Personall I love the Torre Cristal. When the projects came out long ago I prefered the Espacio first but the Cristal grew on me, as most of Pelli's work does
However I still dislike the Repsol Tower, reminds me of the Commerzbank as an inside-out cubic version

Great projects and great updates.

I love three of these tower, but I think that the Repsol one is unfortunately quite ugly and with a somehow dated design.

Am I the only one feeling like that?

Maybe I should correct you. But I certainly don't know if it would be worth doing so. Definetely you have never been to Spain, have you? If you still have those thoughts you have two chances: travel and read much more than you do, or admit your complete ignorance.

And by the way, some of the world's most important construction firms are from Spain. For instance, the complete renewal of Poland's infrastructure is done with the help of the Spanish government. Another example is the bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden. It has been done by a Spanish construction firm. Just another example more. The new artificial pier in Montecarlo's harbour (the biggest structure ever transported by boat) has been done in Spain. Do you want more examples? Madrid has the world's fastest growing subway network in the entire world, and its airport enlargement has been Europe's largest civil work for the last 5 years. More examples: Spanish high-speed railway network is also Europe's fastest growing right now. And believe me, if there is a big amount of money on the table (and I think there is), these towers will be finished by 2007. It's just a matter of interest.

Where are you from, easysurfer? Undoubtly, you have to be from a very isolated place, or maybe the isolated is you. Who knows?

Dearest EASYSURFER

I don´t use to write in this forum and I don´t know why I´m wasting my time replying you, but I desagree with you. Your supposition about what you expose in your comment is totally wrong. As I can see, you never have visited Madrid, truth? If you visit the Madrid Arena´s forum, you´ll find pics taken at night, where you´ll be able to observe that they are working at night and not taking a nap as you say. If they were not finished for the 2007, perhaps because they are slow, but also sure. Anyway, to say that with that type of comments I verify you haven´t travel very often out of England, where I guess you come from. So I give you an advice, travel most often, it will change your short mind about it!!!!!
