The problem with our skyline is that 1) the highs are not clustered together enough, and 2) the city is hilly. So you must go back at least a mile to get a decent skyline shot, and even then you will not get all the talls together.
It is a real shame that the Jury' Inn tower is on hold. That would have complimented City Lofts. Still, give it a few years and I reckon we will have a decent cluster emerging around the Moor area. This shot was taken before City Lofts was built. Wonder what it would look like with CL on the right.

Funny that! ![]() I still can't understand why people feel the need to bash and hate on this forum. As if there isn't enough things to like instead Back to topic. On the Skyline front I am always impressed how larger Sheffield looks like when you drive on the IRR counterclockwise around Kelham. I might be wrong and it might not work on photo, but I think it is one of the decent angles you can have from closer than a mile.

There's a great view of the skyline when you're leaving the city by train to the north just as the train tracks cross over the River Don. If anyone risked taking a good photo from around there it would look great!

Its the walk that goes up behind the ski village isnt it? You can start it by Kelham island and the view is one of the best you can get of the city. Love the photos

Great photos. It's always good to see the city from a different angle - we don't get much taken from that side of town.
