Excellent project!! Good work Techno-Architect!
But I am not really sure if it will be completed by April 30, 2006. This structure atleast require 8-10 months (or may be a year) to complete.

Two type of imported granite is beign used here. Red Ruby Granite (shiny one) & Red Granite (textured one). Granites are costly but are good in a number of ways. The provide good look to the floors and in places where there is a large 'abrassion' effect, wear n tear, in busy places esp they are useful.
![]() Another floor pattern captured. Granite tiles are going to be placed in a 'kite' geometry with a rectangular box in the middle. <img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f298/techno-architect2/Islamabad%20UC/219.jpg" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"> ![]() RCC mesh being used. which will look like smth in the next pic. ![]() ![]() Another fountain but the water will drain toward North side. ![]() ![]() Zoom in. ![]() They are leaving hollow spaces at the top of the arch. ![]()

Hey, Techno-Architect. I assume you are from Islamabad. Can you take the map of Islamabad and point out where the poor areas are?

What is this building in the back. It looks deserted. Is it in decay? >>> This building wus designed by Naqvi & Siddiqui in 1970's. Its 11 storey and was the tallest building in Isloo till Saudi Pak Tower (16 Storey- desinged by Nayyar Ali Dada) took the place in 1990's. Its still in use by the Agriculture Development Bank Of Pakistan but certainly needs to be repainted and renovated now!!! |

The third section of the project. It is a musuem, undergroung one. Couldnt get much access to it but wut i say inside from far told me that will be the best part. Chapti Taweera - a yellow type of marble is being used on the facade. Note that about 6-7 finishing material are used on this project.
![]() ![]() ![]() Checkout the slope of the roof.Amazing!! ![]() N ofcourse this amazing peice of semi-circular arches!! the further they go they broader they become thus they dont look smaller in perspective! ![]() ![]() Projection given which is in aluminium cladding ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This monument is of greater importance so it is being fenced from all around. ![]() ![]() All these pix have been taken in January 2006 Last edited by Techno-Architect; January 31st, 2006 at 06:27 PM. |
