Yes, and its now taller then every building except the Wall centre and Harbour centre and maybe the shaw tower.

Imagine if the shangri la was built in the location of the one wall centre. Then imagine how tall it would be! Considering that the wall centre is constructed on the highest elevation point in downtown.

The Shangri la looks like a supertall in that photoshopped picture although its not.

Shangri-La Vancouver podium construction webcam update September 28th



The podium is starting to come along. It will house an upscale Urban Fare grocery store, a public sculpture garden curated by the Vancouver Art Gallery, and an unnamed fine dining restaurant.
