the glass facade is nice....however the green blocks seem a lil...70's..are they for some structural reason or lighting purposes...nontheless..its growing and going to be an awsome addition to the skyline

Hopefully on Van city's next build they will push the limits to about 80 stories. For now this is a great building, and its coming together quite fast!

It has been confirmed that the little coloured squares are also solar panels and they will light up at night and will have the same colour effect as they do in the day.

Very nice effect with the curtain wall. Going off topic but this building reminds me of the buttons of the Sony ericsson K810/850 with its unique colour sqaures/solar panels.

Let me correct myself, the construction process is actually at level 35 and level 36 will be constructed by the end of the week.

Vancouver is being forced to build higher because of growth of population in the downtown core and the core can no longer be built horizontally by adding several smaller buildings instead of just building one taller one.
