There was an earthquake today at 3:34 AM which affected all the central-south regions of Chile with a magnitude of 8,8 Richter degrees.

Titanium Tower was affected by the earthquake but there's no major damage, here some pictures...

Very lucky. A tragedy like this can be a blessing in disguise. Repairs can be done to make the balaconies and such even stronger.

Big earthquake over there, tragic that so many people have died. This tower has held up well.

I hope that it will go well with the people in Chili from now. Take care.

I must say that this wasn't just a strong earthquake, it was a 8,8 Richter scale quake, a SUPREME EARTHQUAKE.
Just as a warning to many of you who might think "But this wouldn't have happened in Tokyo, were they build excellent anti-seismic buildings..." it would have happened EVERYWHERE, in Tokyo, or San Francisco, or everywhere else.

but the epicenter was far away. it's not like santiago had an 8.8 earthquake.

anyway, the tower is fantastic. very elegant and timeless.

The epicenter(according to CNN) was 100 kilometers from Concepcion and this city is like 250 kilometers away from Santiago,so I think Santiago wasnt too affected, but correct me if Im wrong
