funny thing, this tower the photos have been taken from is brand new
it doesn't even have a proper road, main entrance on the front is not yet accessible
in other words, if you live in this building right now you **** up your car on the construction road, which looks like this and consists of gravel, sand, dirt, garbage,...

tower is not even finished and this is what i found on my way up to the top of the car park

Thanks for the update.

What is the tower in the first pic and how tall is it?

im trying to work out current height?
so if the large floor near base is ground level lobby or 1st floor, are the floor plates at-17 and core at-28?

Nice photos as always D-L.

After looking at your latest photo and seeing all the rising construction, to you, it seems hard to imagine that not too long ago, you were able to take photos of the underground levels/foundation so easily and walk right up to it.

Very good effort and the best BD photos back then and now.

I work very close to the Otis Elevator Company Headquarters, it's here in Connecticut. So today I stopped by there, and said to one of the guys working. I heard you guys got the contract for the Massive Tower in Dubai, right? And the guy said, yea we did and WOW is that thing big. Then I said, do you know how tall it is. And the guy said, yes it's 3,000 feet tall that's more than a 1/2 mile. Can you believe it?

The 3 wings seem to be stuck at the first setback while
the core grows...and the nose cones approach ever so slowly...

actually the tower in the foreground is only 240m
a roof feature and small spire will make it 280m
