That's still damn fast. It took me about an hour and a half. But I'm not complaining since up until a few months ago it would have taken me approximately 40 hours

This makes me extremely jealous and mad at Etisalat at the same time!

Wow Troyboy. I wonder what you're using as I'm outside of the Detroit area myself and it took ~10-15 minutes. Not bad really, considering a dial-up alternative, but no where near 1 or 2 minutes! o.O

Europe has more advanced broadband connections (for the home user) than we do here in the US.. Im running at 6mbs and that seems fast as it is.. most AVERAGE broadband connections here in Los Angeles, run between 384kb and 8mbs. I can only seem to average at around 88kb a second on the download speed though.. There is new technology for cable modems being tested in Europe which will dramatically increase the speed FAR beyond what anybody is seeing on their broadband currently, and they are going to get that released first to their citizens..

FT lifts are going to be running at 18 m per second?? thats damn fast!! I heard T101's lifts move at 40 miles per hour which are now the fastest passenger lifts on the planet.. that would mean that FT's lifts are going to be going almost 40mph?!? that would be a lot of fun??

didnt the old WTC lifts move kinda slowly? I heard that even the express lift to the top didnt move that fast, and that there were other shorter buildings in NY that had faster lifts...

I know its off topic, but my brother told me that the ESB lifts really moved fast! He said they were a good deal quicker than anything else in NY.. is that true??

Starting to look tall. Can you imagine its going to be 6-9 times as tall as it is now? Its also more obvious that a comlex is getting built now with the structures around it rising.

It will look even more impressive then JBR.

BTW please get them to Emporis .
