The Viridian -- 302 Unit High Rise -- Nashville, TN, USA

This is an amazing shot of the Viridian, I think anyways. I used a program that came with my camera that automatically stiched all the photos together to create one big vertical pano of the building. ENJOY!

This project is in Nashville, TN, USA. It is one of of the many residential projects going on in our great city. It doesnt get enough recognition on this site, and I want that to change.

This project has 302 units and is scheduled for completion this year.

Viridian Nightmare

I am still perplexed why the city of Nashville allowed Viridian to build literally a bus length away from one of the best exapmples of a mid century modern high rise. It ruins both buildings outlooks, from inside and out. This would not be so objectionable if it were done because there were no other places to place a new tower, but Nashville is litered with empty block after empty block of paved over parking lots right in the downtown core. I am amazed that anyone would support such reckless zoning and call it a great. Even the
best buildings in the world would not look good smashed up next to eachother. What a waste. Leave it to Nashville to _uck up one of the best buildings that it had. It was not the first nor will it be the last.

leave it to someone from Vancouver to talk about building useless buildings and highrises right next to eachother. When Vancouver looks a mess and has no real skyline because they just build whatever, where ever. Talk about a nightmare, a city that looks like something like a Brazilian city wanna be.

Hey, nice picture...

Too bad it's so damn huge that nobody can see more than a corner of it without scrolling, even on a high res monitor.

Your word for the day is "resize".

Just checking out the forums and wanted to add that as a Nashville transplant to Atlanta just last year, I keep up with and am amazed at all the large-scale construction going on in Nashville. Lastly, I would like to add that I read only yesterday in the Nashville Business Journal that the Veridian is now officially sold out!
