Essen-Kettwig und der Gruga Park sind wirklich sehr schön aber insgesamt würd ich Essen lieber als interessant bezeichnen.

Es gibt noch ein paar ältere Stadtteile die ganz nett sind. Essen-Steele wirkt sehr dörflich, aber ansonsten hat die Stadt nicht so viel zu bieten, gerade der Kennedyplatz ist furchtbar.

Bredeney, Baldeney sind ganz nett - wohl die am wenigsten häßliche Stadt des Ruhrgebiets.
