Many great projects, i didn't expect to see that many high-rise proposals in Cork, and they are some really beautiful proposals!

Nice projects I had no idea there was that much development going on in Cork! Just a few questions for you Malec, if you don't mind...

Where is that new campus being built? The site for the old Greyhound track is being prepared for the new UCC IT Campus - would that be the render for it?

I live near Cork County Hall, which is Ireland's tallest building and has been for a number of decades, sadly. I'm glad to see this new Eglinton Tower being constructed. Where is this building coming up though?

The new residential/retail development between Eyre Square and Patrick's St. isn't the only project in town, is it? The Capital Cinema is closed now, as (supposedly, I'm not quite sure) that whole block of buildings on Grand Parade are being razed for some new construction. Would you have any information about that Malec?

Thanks a lot for this thead, it's quite a pleasant surprise to see Cork on these forums. Sry about the questions and thanks in advance!

There will be a shopping centre on grand parade I think. Eglinton street tower will be where the old post sorting office was.

Nice projects. Ireland is really booming. I spent 3 days in Dublin over the Easter weekend and there were cranes all over the Docklands area.

What is the population of Cork? Looks a interesting place. Love the look of the airport terminal. Is it international?

Yep, it's international. Along with the new terminal comes an expansion of the runway so that Cork can receive transatlantic flights.

Cork's population is only something like 130,000 in the city but it's more like 250,000 including the burbs I think, not sure exactly.
