Can we leave Breixt nonsense to the required thread as all it shows are peoples inherent views on it and posting selective things to suit their mindset and leave this thread to the updates on London projects.

http://www.constructionenquirer.com/...-regen-scheme/

Quote:
Lendlease has been recommended as the preferred bidder for the role of longterm development partner for the £1bn High Road West scheme in Tottenham.

Located next to Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium, the major regeneration project will help to establish High Road West as a new sports and leisure destination with improved public spaces and community facilities.

Subject to Haringey Council Cabinet approval, Lendlease will deliver over 2,500 homes, sustaining around 3,000 construction jobs during the lifetime of the scheme.

The basic matters have been addressed, though uncomfortable for some. No need to rehash the issue.

Is there a reason why this is the only project without data about the heights or floor count?

SE9 who did that summary, i assume cba to match the 7 or so tall buildings with heights and floors. Doing so is a really intensive task much in the same which it isn't being done with Greenwich Peninsula or Nine Elms Square.

TfL looks to head underground for more houses
EGI.co.uk
31st August 2017

Quote:
Transport for London is considering paving over nine major London roads, including parts of the North Circular, to enable development of hundreds of acres of land.

Responding to a Freedom of Information request from EG, TfL said it had conducted studies on a long list of potential places to sink roads and had then conducted feasibility studies on nine specific areas.

Sinking sections of major arterial roads would connect communities, enable housing development and provide more public space.

TfL specifically identified three sites where the proposed decking over the current road would be appropriate for substantial development: Leyton, E10, Leytonstone, E11, and Poplar, E14.

TfL’s nine potential sunken roads

A13 at Barking Riverside
A1261 at Poplar
A4 at Hammersmith and A3 at Tolworth
A406 at New Southgate
A12 at Leyton and the A12 at Leytonstone
A40 at Savoy Circus
A316 at Chalkers Corner

London developer to allow rental tenants to pay deposits in bitcoin
theguardian.com
Monday 4th September

Quote:
The Collective says there is international demand to accept cryptocurrency, and will take it for rent payments from autumn.

A London property developer is to allow its tenants to pay their deposits in bitcoin – the first time the virtual currency has been used in the UK residential homes market.

Co-living pioneer The Collective has announced that prospective tenants can pay deposits from Monday in bitcoin. By the end of this year it will also accept rent payments in the cryptocurrency. This is the first time in the UK a major property developer has enabled bitcoin payments. The Collective said it was in response to demand predominantly from international customers.

With multiple towers, I decided to omit the height and floor count data for Wood Wharf. Ditto other larger single projects.

Info is available in the London forum thread
