@1st pic, there was no walkie talkie tower behind that old white building the last time when i went to london, it looks quite unusual to see it popping up there.

Fenchurch is looking a lot sleeker than I imagined.

The cladding on Fenchurch is so nice, but it's still fat.

It won't look so alone when Lime Street and others join the gap between it and the main cluster.

In case anyone thought London was slowing down with new buildings....... It isn't!

New renders released of Lugate and Sampson House in Southwark that will complement the Beetham Tower.

Which means another cluster is on its way!

Planning stage at the moment. The site has been sold to the developer I believe. But they have to wait for the tenants to leave the current site. They a hoping both towers will be under way by 2018 for total completion around 2022, all looking positive.

Ludgate and Sampson House are two of the worst buildings in London, I'm so pleased that they're being demolished. They've ruined that area of the South Bank for so many years, and this project, along with Beetham Tower will utterly transform this part of London. I can't wait to see it all completed.

They will probably face some objection due to the fact they are quite near St Paul's, which would slow the process.
I wonder if this area could become a potentially huge new cluster, with the Shard one end along with the Shell Centre proposals the other.

I don't think EH have any beef with the new renders actually. There hasn't been any mention of them.

With regards to the super cluster however. It wouldn't just be from Blackfriers to the shard... Looking in the other direction you will have the redevelopment all the way down to St George's Tower cluster and the entire new waterfront development including the new US embassy down to Battersea Power Station redevelopment!

In other words, the entire water front on the south side of the Thames from the Shard down past Battersea will be redeveloped and appear like a wall of tall and medium buildings.

That 114m height is the old height for the cancelled office block they were going to build.
