How tall is this observation tower going to be. Im quite well informed with i360 and I know its not 183m tall. The wind turbine on top doesnt really count.

There are height limits of 170m in the area, if I recall correctly.

It had better not look anything like the designs for i360... they are utter crap.

I beg to differ. The designs are simple yet delightful. It will become a landmark which Brighton will be recognised for.

Will it? Like the Polo Tower in Morcambe was? (which was exactly the same concept) Whenever this 'attraction' isnt going to be in operation, which is quite a lot of the time, it will just look like an ugly white pole.

I personally think it will work well with Ontario tower. AGL height is 136m. 44 floors.

JP Morgan - one of the world's largest investment banks - are reported to be seeking a new 1 million square foot London headquarters. This is one of the largest requirements ever seen in London. On their shortlist of possible locations are:

Riverside South, Canary Wharf (214m and 189m)

Northgate (181m), which is adjacent to the Broadgate Tower (165m).

and Walbrook Square (106m, 71m, 67m and 66m).

Here's another story. This is actually from a few months back, but I only found out today. According to Property Week, there are plans by Investream to redevelop this site, neighbouring the Willis Building. The scheme will contain at least 600,000 sq ft, so will include something quite tall -

It would stand between the Willis Building (seen here u/c), and the Aviva Tower (black midrise in the middle) -

the walbrook scheme I agree is bad, but so is that brown building sitting in front of London Bridge, how on earth did that manage to get PP near such an important part of London and you call that a hotel?! Looks like prison, up there with the Novotel in Birmingham

Grrr... it's Tower Bridge, not London Bridge. The building you are referring to in the above photo is the Thistle Hotel, undoubtedly one of the ugliest and worst located buildings in London.

Tis a question many ask my learned friend...

I myself have attempted to pass the question through a series of complicated algorithm generators, utilising bendy holdy technology stuff, and elastic trickery....it however blew up as it could not fathom the answer in a million years.

101010100 WTF IS THAT ! 10101010

why arent they coming up with new innovative designs...like in dubai?

Skyline would be great but some of those towers should be improved to give it a better look.

Anyways, great for london.
