^ normally love most London projects but that Bloomberg one looks very poor and very 80's. I think with a bit of dirt and grime it will be an eye saw in around 10 years time! Having lived in Woolwich its good to see that area developing more as it has quite a nice feel and some great architecture dotted around.

The fine-detail will make or break that project from an architectural/aesthetic point of view.

Why plasticy? It's probably reconstituted stone a la Pan Peninsula. This type of development is exactly what London needs to solve its housing crisis: loads more like this. I also like the rooftop gardens.

I agree we need more towers. However many new towers seem to have this horrible plastic look about them - Avantgarde for instance or other monstrosities in the East End.

I think it will be better than those. It has better design and materials.

Agreed on the design; look similar to those Kings Cross resis, but the renders give the idea these are from the plastic kind.

I don't want to drag on for too long on this one topic, but SE9's post above shows they'll use reconstituted limestone.

I'm confident that the Lewisham tower will be a much better standard than Altitude, which is awful in person.
