It's the idea of Canary Wharf - Wood Wharf expanding to sort of meet it that's also so exciting. The splurge of 150m-250m towers proposed in this vicinity will really make it look so attractive.

London Square achieves £500m development pipeline
Date: 05/08/2013

Official website: http://www.londonsquare.co.uk/

Residential developer London Square has signed its 11th deal taking its development pipeline to over £500m.

The firm set-up three years ago by former Barratt London regional chairman Adam Lawrence, has exchanged on a former office building in Eastcote village in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

The site has planning permission for a £15m residential scheme – a collection of 42 one, two and three bedroom apartments.

Work will start in September this year and the development is expected to be complete in early 2015.

These are the correct plans. I don't know why the media keep posting the old plans when they report this project.

The Hotel and Ballroom project just next door (red outline) has just started construction last week as well:

It's going to be a busy construction site by this time next year.

Inner and outer GDP per capita in London is about 60k USD GDP per capita?

That's right.

The GDP (PPP) per capita of London (population 8,174,100) is €45,800 which is $61,000.

The GDP (PPP) per capita of Inner London (population 3,231,901) is €80,300 which is $107,000.

Phenomenal rate of office and residential construction citywide.

It's a shame that the Deloitte Crane Survey for London (which measures the total office space under construction) only includes "Central London" (21km²) and "Docklands" (21km²). Those two regions only constitute a fraction of London's population and area: http://www.deloitterealestate.co.uk/...2-%286%29.aspx

I'd like to see an assessment of how much is under construction in Inner London (319km²) at least.

Looks like Hollywood is continuing to enjoy filming in London these days. This is like the 6th film in the last 6 months to be shot here. Great for the London economy... and even more reason for the Pinewood expansion to go ahead.

New 'Thor' trailer is out... can you name the area
