This 8200mē development near Tottenham Court Road station has been approved: Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands bags Oxford Street go-ahead

The project, three floors of retail and five floors of office space, will be complete by 2017:

That side of Oxford Street definitely is. There's lots of projects planned there though.

One day it should be pedestrianised:
