Its a failure of a scraper damaging cars and shop fronts.

Lesson of the day.

Build more skyscrapers around it to block the sun from reflecting on its facade

No, its because of the curve of the building which acts as a funnel of sorts

Finally Brits can stay in the UK to get their Sunburn-Lobster-Skin and don't need to fly to Mallorca anymore. So Germans don't need to get up at 4 a.m. to reserve their beach chairs

So everyone will be happy. Great Building

Why the fuss? As this problem will be over soon with winter aproaching, why not just put up a sign "no parking between April and September". The shops get smoke detectors paid by the investor. Problem solved. This could be a tourist attraction ("Melting Point"?)

I heard that some guy was trying to stand in the reflection of this tower so he could get 3rd degree burns and then he was planning to sue the developer. I saw that the police had him removed after about 30 minutes or so.

In my opinion the building looks ugly and whoever are the designers need to go back to University to re do their courses or whatever.

I'm not really a fan of the building, either. But I've seen much worse.
