Seems there is progress with 2 Trafalgar Way to since it's been taken on by others.

A material amendment has been submitted this week.

Maybe movement.

Massive improvement to what was there.
I think it's a very average building. There are a million others like it.

Conjoined towers is a good idea. Not sure on the design... There's something about it I don't like.

YES! That's exactly what it is! Not that Asian is a bad thing, it just doesn't look like a London skyscraper[s].

Awful design and cladding. Sorry. I only like the real London skyscrapers such as Leadenhall Building, The Gherkin, Canary Wharf Tower, Baltimore Tower, 1 Blackfriars, and The Mighty Shard etc. This one is ...

This was the original design - amendments on cladding and materials have been requested.

Agreed.

There are more beautiful towers to come... but this is not one of them.

Hopefully as Birmingham said, the new materials might drive a whole new design/complex.

I think you do a serious disservice to the Foster team. This building will be entirely bespoke and its quality will be exceptional. You couldn't be further from the truth when you say "there are a million others like it".

With regards to the bloomberg groundscraper it will probably be nice to walk around at street level and made of good materials, but I have to agree with portonuts that it will look poor on the cityscape and nothing at all on the skyline, its just another tennant stealing hulking groundscraper, london london does not need any more groundscrapers

I'm so excited for Wood wharf. They seem really determined to start it now.

"Once permission is obtained, construction is expected to start in the first quarter of 2014 on the first phase, which will include 884 apartments across three buildings and two office buildings totalling 216,000 square feet, the company said. The first buildings will be completed in 2017."

Does anyone know what the first phase includes apart from the landmark residential tower? And how tall will this one be btw?
