I was so fortunate to catch Globe Trekkers/Lonely Planet at Travel and Living Channel last Friday, they featured LONDON! Oh my goodness, I thought I was going to drop dead! As a kid, I was always fascinated with London(and I thought it was a country then). Now growing up, I discovered Harry Potter and guess what, my obsession with London grew bigger!
It's nice to see alot of new building in London, it's so sad that two great (and evil) events happened in 1666 and 1940, The Two Great Fires, well you know, life's like that and what better way to relive the past than building a great future with cutting edge structures! |

that is GREAT news!London 2007,what will be U/C: Shard/London Bridge (310m): Heron Tower (242m): 122 Leadenhall (225m): Beetham London (220m): (Will be revised first though) 20 Fenchurch street (190m): St Georges Wharf (183m): Multiplex living tower (147m) Then of course you have what is already U/C Broadgate (164m) and Pan Peninsula (147m), and maybe some others which I'm unsure bout the start (Riverside south etc...) |

Fenchurch street tower and Beetham really do have shoddy designs by London's standards, and they need to do something about this! I believe Beetham tower's look is being modified at the moment, so that's a start. The rest of them I love though!!!

Beetham will be much better soon, and to be honest I really like the front and back of Fenchurch street the only thing I'm unsure of in all of London's proposals is the sides of Fenchurch street

I wish they'd hurry up and approve Bishopsgate tower. I mean, we all know it's gonna get approval, and you know how long skyscrapers take to actually start constuction in London, so the sooner it gets approved, the better!

Very nice! Would broadgate be visible from there?
and also You havent put in Fenchurch, which would probably be taller than T42 from here. Other than that it is one of the best far distance renders I have seen in a long time! |
