I thought the same at first. Apple however does the same, and it's far from being affected by it.

Thanks again SE9. Just wondering if you have any more info on that proposed super tall in EC2 you hinted at a few pages back.

City Road / Old Street / Shoreditch is quietly attracting a good number of mid to high rise projects already under construction or proposed. Is there a rough map of the location of various projects - or even a render of how the area might look in 5 years or so? It would be interesting to see whether they'll eventually be close enough to form a genuine cluster or whether they'll be too spread out for that.

P.S. As per usual, SE9, sterling work. Many thanks.

Great work! Thanks.

Looks as though they're too spread out to form a single cluster, though. More like three mini clusters.

Though there might, of course, be further projects in the pipeline.

Indeed.

8-9-10 tack onto Broadgate Tower and hence sort of join the 'main' (eastern) City cluster, to the extent that Broadgate appears part of that, which is 'sometimes'. Maybe making a new 'northern City cluster' from other angles.

4-5-6-7 aren't really high enough to mark out a new cluster imo. 6 is tall but the others make no major skyline impact on an already mid-rise area.

1-2-3 is a reasonable basis for one but would take some fleshing out to really count as a proper cluster in its own right I think.

From some angles I think 1-7 might act to beef up the rather half hearted western City cluster by lining up with the Barbican towers, Heron, CityPoint etc? But my knowledge of North london viewpoints isnt so hot. Still never made it to Parliament Hill or Archway suicide bridge...

It's great to see so many 'mini' clusters going up in London, especially the Nine Elms development and Elephant Castle. All I think London needs is a new central cluster on the Shards side of the river to make the skyline grade upwards towards the whopping great height of the shard.
