I swear the view count for the Paris thread is being fiddled with.

Fro7en, the truth is there are some French members who are desperate to keep the Paris thread with higher view figures, it is constantly being fiddled, it is very sad!

No doubt there will be some who now comment that I am sad for noticing it, the truth is I'm not bothered, but it is a fact that it's happening and I'm entitled to post here highlighting it.

Paris is a fantastic city so I dunno why it would matter to them the view count, it's so unimportant. It's not worth worrying about.

There are always desperate people like that lolol. Honestly, I don't care what the view count is, I know that Paris and London are both THE GREATEST cities of the world... And good thing they are so close to eachother...

...who cares about new york anymore....

It's under construction allready. Apparently it's the first tower brookfield have built in the world without a prelet, great confidence in london. JPMORGAN are also building a three tower headquarters at canary wharf on the riverside south plot.
With the other office towers going up banks/corporations/finance/insurance are all showing great confidence in londons future and continued status

It has been discussed many times before. There were also clear evidences of view counts jumping by 50000 overnight. However mods has asked not to bring it here as you can get warning. But as said above, not really important now.

There has been another two tower development for london that has just been announced, the towers 250m and 150m. They are one of the new Chinese wave of investments announced during china's recent presidential visit to Britain.

There has also been another two tower project announced for canary wharf called 'alpha square' which will be taller than expected at over 200m+ and 100m+.

With the Paddington tower just announced that's three 200m+ towers in one week. (I lose count of the 100m+ ones these days.
It's seriously hard to keep up with londons developments.

When is the new attraction park being built again? The Paramount park. Or is it already under construction?

I'm afraid the London Paramount amusement park hasn't received planning permission yet Fro7en. I believe a decision is due in 2016.
It did receive a boost recently when a Chinese company announced it would be investing some money towards the total project cost, this coincided with the Chinese Prime Ministers visit.

Nice to see, that Hamburg performs awesome without boost

Anyway. Viewcount boosted or not. London puts out in average the best highrise projects in Europe. Very impressive what is going on in that city. Despite I still got the feeling that an overall masterplan/city idea is missing for the placement of several projects. True?

I think an overall plan would be nigh on impossible but I'm sure there are plans for individual areas such as the city, nine elms etc.

What's scary is that 200m+ towers are being proposed just about in every corner of the city.

I hope it doesn't end up looking like one gigantic skyline.

When you look at already you can see highrise cores rising all over the place.

Lol...its still going on then.

I was the first here to raise this in early 2013, here's my post on it:

Sad to see the (French) system Admin 'Matthieu' is still at it, nearly 3yrs later.

Ooops, did I just name the culprit responsible....well its about time.

If all goes to plan, it will be completed in 2021.

Assuming the towers we know of get built , a multi-cluster skyline such as Tokyo is very possible. Although having listed buildings and conservation areas and the green built prevents London from from bearing an uncanny resemblance.
