News regarding two future London Overground stations at Hythe Road at Old Oak Lane

TfL secures €4m EU funding for two new Old Oak stations
RailTechnologyMagazine.com
Wednesday 16th December 2015

Quote:
Transport for London (TfL) has secured €4m funding from the European Commission (EC), which it will match, to move forward options for new London Overground stations at Old Oak Common.

Station plans for Old Oak Common Lane and Hythe Road are expected to greatly improve the capital’s transport links, as well as provide an interchange with HS2 and Crossrail.
Connectivity between these wide-scale programmes is “essential” to the transformation of both Old Oak Common and the regeneration of Park Royal, one of the mayor’s key ‘opportunity areas’.

The new travel links could “radically cut” journey times to and from the area, opening up access to both the Clapham Junction to Stratford, and Richmond to London, Overground lines.

Richard de Cani, TfL’s managing director of planning, said: “Old Oak and Park Royal is one of the largest regeneration schemes in London for decades and will support 65,000 new jobs and 25,500 new homes. Good transport links are vital to the successful transformation of the area, and this funding will allow us to develop proposals for London Overground connectivity in the area.

Stravinsky, Ugly is an subjective value judgment. not an objective. For me, Shenzhen is not Ugly. I like Shenzhen more than London because it is my feeling, my subjective value judgment. You have to respect, that i feel so.

You should more learn about subjective value judgment by Carl Menger and the other Austrian Economics like Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk, Friedrich August von Hayek or Ludwig von Mises.

Thank you.

Holy moth, it looks like Paddington will be yet another cluster for London. Is the Cucumber still being built, though? I do hope so.

London clusters would then be… The City, Isle of Dogs, Stratford, Croydon, Elephant and Castle, Paddington and Nine Elms. I'm not sure if Greenwich Peninsula and the South Bank qualify as clusters.

The Cucumber (One Merchant Square) is on hold and so signs of construction either. But there were plans for two towers which i posted on Paddington Developments thread by Grimshaw and Richard Rogers but they never saw the light of day.

There's also City Fringes (Shoreditch , Old Street , City Road Basin and Whitechapel)

Greenwich Peninsula is going to have around 20 towers over 100 meters , so definitely a cluster there albeit by 2035.

Southbank counts too , from Southbank Place to One Blackfriars. It includes South Bank Tower and Bankside Quarter.
