Yes, apart from Crossrail, it's possibly the most exciting infrastructure project going on in London at the moment.

Removed image of the older design. I wasn't up to date with latest changes.

The progression of the design can be seen in the D&A statement here: https://development.towerhamlets.gov...T_2-837361.pdf

I'm really getting excited about seeing 100 Bishopsgate rise! I'm also waiting for the Scalpel's core! So many projects I can't wait to see!

It feels like yesterday we were all watching the Walkie Talkie and Cheesegrater being built!

Edit: Removed old image of image of Newfoundland, point below still stands

Of the major towers going up at the moment in London I feel most uncomfortable with this one. If not done right I think it would look absolutely terrible.

Yep, just looked through the london thread to check, the flared top version is old, and the flat top version is current.

Rudolf Place | Vauxhall SW8

London forum thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1829765
Official website: http://www.rudolfplace-vauxhall.co.uk/

Project facts:
  • 36 and 20 storey towers
  • 780 student rooms
  • 93% uplift in office space
  • Developer: Downing Student

Retro Specs alerts us to this new proposal to add to the Vauxhall cluster. (NB: the diagram below is actually missing numerous approved and under construction towers - 7 by my count, but I may be wrong)
