Not sure that I can agree.

Maybe lose the columns at the front and then I might like it.

I think it looks quite good in the second shot when viewed in context with its surrounding buildings as part of the cityscape (but I also agree when isolated in the first shot it does seem somewhat odd looking!)

There are plenty of current and proposed developments in London that please me, actually. Quite possibly, even, some that don't please you. Go figure.

It just happens that I feel a bit so-so about this particular building. The columns seem superfluous. Out of place, even - belonging to a different design. They merely serve to clutter up the facade, with jarring effect. There must surely have been a cleaner, more harmonious solution.

All IMO, of course. I hope that that's okay by you?

The architect who designed this piece of art deserves an award.

I'm so glad SE9 can spare the time to keep posting in this thread.

...It can't be easy, given all the sneering, contemptuous posts he continues to indulge in over Brexit, in the UK section.

Charming. Reminiscent of your previous contribution to this thread, which as comical as it was bizarre.

I post more developments and status updates in the London forum than I post on all politics-related threads in the UK forum combined. If what I and others post with respect to Brexit grates you so intensely, then why not rebut us in the appropriate forum. Something I've yet to see.

Better to debate us on the points, in the relevant place, than run to the London 'projects & construction' thread and launch humorous personal attacks.

This thread is giving me an impression that London is looking better and better with every day. So much construction and more importantly so much quality in both designs and materials. Congrats!
