yup. Pretty normal in most city centre sites though I should imagine.

good point it appears that the structure is a normal one... I would say a cheap one ..probably because it's a low rise ..I'm curios how this one looks in 5 moths

Nice tower, I have to figure how high 246 meters is. Schools in the U.S. were bad at teaching us meters and liters growing up. London towers are looking nice however.

What do you mean a low rise? It's going to be the tallest building in The City.

It's a steel frame building, no core.

It's about 800ft.

The next two floors begin rising tomorrow.

Steel-frame building virtually pop out of the ground over night. This one will be finished in no time, you'll see!

From the pictures above (all very good by the way), I don't think people realize the sheer size of those beams/columns. They are ginormous!!

Yep, it should be topped-out by the end of this year.

Great to see the building start to rise. It just shows how little this particular tower is being affected by the crunch.

It's probably foam. Spread along streets and pavements. And some courtyards.

We often do it in Sydney as sort of Christmas decoration to make it fresh-looking and wintry.

Very interresting construction. I like a huge meccano construction progress. Nothing of contrete... look to the staircase pure prefab! This building is rising fast!

Woooow. Swiss RE Frozen!!! What an incredible sight.

I'm glad the developers of HT chose the City of London to build this tower, instead of Canary Wharf.

I'm not sure I'm picturing this right in my head but this is not what it is here.
It IS snow. Period.
