wjfox, those pictures are brilliant!

If you don't mind me asking, how do you take such a picture. You know, that you can from a short distance fit both the footpad and the top of the cranes. Is it a lense or just some kind of "vertical panorama"?

No special lenses involved. I just took 4 or 5 separate shots, starting from the bottom, then tilted gradually upwards. Then I stitched them together using a software program - PTGui.

wow, I thought that wasn't the whole building, its quite thin to be rising 246 more meters.

Besides Soho, I can't think of a less 'skyscraper-friendly' area.
I mean... Such tight streets and corners! Must be hell for the trucks to deliver anything there. I'm impressed.

It's already started appearing on the skyline in some views.

Topped out by the end of the year. Looking more and more likely in my opinion Very fast for London's second tallest building.
