Heron is now starting to get really tall. 150 metres I suppose?

Are there any companies already assigned to Heron like JP Morgan to Riverside South?

it's being built speculatively, and the design is suited to housing a few small companies. each three floors has its own atrium. maybe a big company will snap it up and just split its departments between each three-floor group.

sorry for the useless explanation, someone else can explain it better than me.

There is something about this shot that makes the gherkin, T42 etc appear much much taller than they really are, and the same goes with the mid rises in the pic...they just look massive!

I think it actually just shows their real height. You can realte them to your average 3 story building, whereas cities with lots of skyscrapers generally have inhuman heights and therefore cant give you an accurate realtion of scale.

a high observation point fairly far away, that shows the ground in the foreground with the skyscrapers in the background gives this effect but i think it's hard to get to work well.

another example (different building- not heron)
