Yes, I think the top will have a restaurant, a deck and some kind of indoor lounge, but a British forumer should be able to confirm that.

Heron Tower earns BREEAM Excellent rating
http://www.building.co.uk/story.asp?...de=3156079&c=0
11 January 2010

By Stephen Kennett

Kohn Pederson Fox's 46-story office tower boasts special photovoltaics that also reduce the building's heat gain

The Heron Tower, which is currently under construction, has been awarded a BREEAM Excellent rating at design stage.

The 46-storey office tower which will be the City’s tallest at 202m with a 30m mast has been designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox and is being constructed by Skanska.

The assessment was conducted by Foreman Roberts and detailed the performance of Heron Tower against the BREEAM Offices 2006 criteria.

The tower includes a number of special features such as photovoltaics which as well as generating electricity help to create a solar shield and triple skin glazed facades to reduce heat gain by 45% over a standard glazing solution.

Nice!!! looks so... BIG!!! It's a pretty interesting building, the structure it's really cool! This skyscraper show us that a building doesn't need to be weird to be great, interesting... I mean, I just can't imagine a "Dubai style" building in London xD

Uninspiring.

Swiss Re is nice, and even the Walkie Talkie looks to be more interesting than this one.

Does anyone know what level of the tower will the new Four Seasons Hotel occupy? Considering the Shangri-La will occupy the top floors nearly 1000 feet high at the new London Bridge Tower just accross the Thames, I hope Four Seasons will accommodate their guests to enjoy some spectecular views as well.

I don´t know but if they won´t be on the top floors they should give to their clients a free-pass to the observation deck

I knew the Shard was going to accomodate the first Shangri-La Hotel in Europe but I didn't know Heron was going to have a Four Seasons. I thought it would be just offices and a restaurant at the top.
