Valentine's @ Q1

Valentines can reach for stars in Q1 skyscraper

Apartments have designer kitchens and glass-encased balconies which can convert into sunrooms

THE new Q1 Resort and Spa luxury serviced apartments in Surfers Paradise are the ideal place for a romantic rendezvous on Valentine's Day.

The world's tallest residential tower is offering Valentine holiday packages from tomorrow to February 19.

The offer includes luxury accommodation in a spacious one bedroom apartment, entry to the Q1 Observation Deck for two people, a souvenir photograph and two piccolos of Australian sparkling wine from the Q1 Skybar.

Packages start from $225 per night for a City View apartment ($265 for an Ocean View apartment) for a minimum two-night stay.

The one-bedroom apartments are between levels three and 35.

A getaway to the resort need not be limited to a romantic retreat, however.

The luxury serviced apartments are the perfect choice for a long-weekend or a family holiday. There are two and three-bedroom apartments which receive a daily mini service.

The apartments have designer kitchens and glass-encased balconies which can convert into sunrooms.

Facilities at the resort include two lagoon swimming pools, an indoor swimming pool, fitness venue, relaxing poolside dining and an inhouse cinema. There is also a 24-hour concierge service.

The Q1 Spa offers a variety of health, beauty and wellbeing rituals.

There are private and dual treatment rooms so couples and friends can be pampered side-by-side.

Dining options range from the casual Beach Club which offers relaxed poolside dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner through to Absynthe Restaurant which features a degustation menu carefully prepared by two-time Michelin-rated chef Meyjitte Boughenout.

Admission to Q1 Observation Deck (if not included in the accommodation package) is $16.50 and is one of the best tourist experiences on the Gold Coast.

Australia's only beachside observation deck has 360-degree views of the Gold Coast.

For bookings call 1300 792 008 or visit www.Q1.com.au .
