whether people like it or not, i am of the unbeateable impression that continental Croatia is a whole lot more interesting and charming than the coastal parts of the country

I was strugling beetwen Varazdin and Karlovac, but the Karlovac photo collection was of a smaller quantity, which meant less work putting them on

Yeah, the town does remind of Varazdin, but seems a little neglected ( walkways and facades) comparing to Varazdin which is starting to look way too "plastic" for my taste.

btw, Varazdin pics are gonna come soon, too, no worries

well.. i dont go there anymore for two years now

cuz my father used to work for Tobačna Grosist BH,and they have apartments over there in Dajla,thats like 8km from Umag(o)

i really liked it over there,it was awesome

i especially liked ATP Umag =) and the people were very friendly

now we go to Neum, or Kaštel Stari cuz we have some Croatian friends there,my parents actually,for 50 years now LOL

anywayz,i miss Umag very much

lol, BBCh you must be confusing me with someone else, I only passed through Karlovac few times (on motorway), never seen the city in my life, I was born in London, my mom is from Zagorje region, well I'm not 100% sure where she was born, she might have been in Zagreb, but her roots are from Zagorje region, Just outside Zagreb, we have some relatives in Brdovec and Zapersic... I was told Zapersic is not exactly in Zagorje, but here grandparents and parents are from these parts...
