It's not completely watertight. The wall is still leaking like a man with an enlarged prostate, I'm afraid. Hopefully once they concrete it all up completely, we won't hear anymore dripping!

I dunno. Sounds like a great 21st century postmodern gimmick: underwater shopping! Paddle for Prada, dive for dolce, fish for fiorucci...

Really looking forward to this one, looked very exciting and advanced since my last walk through which wasn't long ago... I guess this will be our first roof top restaurant then? or top floor for the pedant prats who seem to be in force lately.

steel,

fantastic news.

Be interesting to know if anyone hears of bridge closure in not too distant future as the bridge will reconnect where it used to into the corner of the Cube.

less than 100 weeks to go

I took this last tuesday, forgot to upload it. Sorry it's a little wonky There was a shedload of glare on my viewfinder making it hard to line up the translucent edges of the image.

These are from Saturday afternoon. When a big blue arm was pouring concrete.

Nan's can say some wonderful things. Mine says, 'I don't know, I'm sure.' A lot.
Which is what I nearly said when I saw the size of the blue arm!

After spending an age digging a big hole. It does now seem to be getting a shift on, doesn't it.

Some poor quality shots (it was chucking down). No-one was on site at 6.15, so they've either caught up, or are sheltering from the rain.

Think it's for protection of the bridge supports. There's plenty of them under the bridge.

It was scheduled to break above street level in July and it has. The cores have grown above street level. The main floors might now have, but they have almost reached canal level. I don't think that this is behind, but I wouldn't be too surprised considering the complexity of the site. Also, there was mention of the workers working outside the times they said they would be. As long as it is still being built, I'm happy!

It's comforting that in these uncertain times, there has never been any doubt about this building going up!
