Rumours abound that an announcement on the Contractor is due imminently.

On top of this we know there is an announcement due this spring of the skybar & restaurant tenants, and I read somewhere that the aluminium cladding is in production

Looks like they are building something with big concrete tubes next to the tower.. maybe this is the podium for the temporary bridge??

Just had a walk for lunch.. looks like the last remaining tenants are moving out and colemans demolitions are on site so things are moving.

In other mailbox related news it looks like they are starting on fitting out the old 3 sotre as Nandos.

Those round things are PCC (precast concrete) manhole rings.

They'd support nothing unless you filled them with something. My guess is they're either keeping them there as materials on site to be installed or they'll use them as temporary pumping tanks - only problem is they're no water tight without the surround!!!

Those round concrete things are now stacked up in the canal. As Chris said it's probably to do with a tempory bridge or something.

Ooh! I take it all back then. They may be using them to form the base for temporary supports as you say.

If they fill them with concrete they can use them as shutters! Interesting.....if you're sad like me!
