Skyscraper Twins

Do you know of any buildings that have cousins in another city?

Pair 1

Hong Kong - 2 IFC

Jersey City - 30 Hudson Street

Pair 2

Hong Kong - Bank of China Tower

Wuxi - Bank of China

Pair 3

Pittsburgh - 1 PPG Place

Seoul - a church

Wuxi's BoC has the same form as HK's BoC but different cladding. I don't consider it as a twin.

If it was built and completed, BDNI Centre in Jakarta is more deserving to be it's twin

I'm talking about actual buildings, not proposals. The architectural form for the Wuxi BoC is pretty much the same as the HK version. They basically came off the same blueprints, hence are twins.

Another similar building to the UOB is the Canada Trust Tower in Toronto.

1 Canada Square has a triangular top and the setback structure is way different.

^ Definitely! A very typical example of Miesian architecture in North America.

I don't know about TD Centre, but Seagram is actually in a T-shape I believe.

Some say that 1 Liberty Pl is a modern-day version of the Chysler Bldg.

I would probably compare the Jersey City to 1IFC, not 2IFC. 2IFC is way super uber taller

The point of the thread is not twin towers but two different buildings that look alike.
