This will look wonderful! Notice how the cladding is glass and doesnt resemble the render at all!!

wow its rising but dont you think that the glass would be better if it is Darker you know like Black glass !!! it would be much better like in this render:

I'm not a big fan of the cladding...it's just blue glass. I guess they want it to be kind of transparent so that the structure remains visible from outside, just like in the renders.

They are doing such a fantastic job on the steel structure!!! It's going very fast!

I wonder if Burj Tower was also a steel structure, they would save so much weight and time! Those columns of Qatar Tower are huge in section area! Plus, these two towers share almost the same structure, except that Qatar Tower's crosses are larger and perhaps share more loads than the smaller steel trusses. Hmmmm... just wondering.

was driving next to it this morning....and i saw the Qatari flag on the tower along with the German one right next to it.....any idea why the german flag is hanging out up there....?

it's the Belgian flag (contractor is a Qatari-Belgian JV).
