The angle of the roof in the first pic, makes it look like an opptical allusion.

That "angled roof" is the Smurfit-Stone building on Michigan and Randolph. Hydrogen must take these from the AON building or Pru2. Very nice angle.

I like the tower, but I wish the very base could be done in stone... it would have worked quite well I think.

It would really make the building blend in a little better with all the other surrounding stone buildings. Oh well...

Block 37 is right across the street, so it won't be the only glassy building right there.

After a two month hold-up stemming from a dispute over the quality of the glass, the cladding process has finally resumed.

The (glass-)facade seems quite cheap to me, but I like the shape - it makes this tower somewhat unique. But they could have done the base with sandstone or another matchin' material, so it'd fit better into its surroundings. But I still like it
