Jan 9 - top of the climbing form

Jan 10 - pouring and debubbling ( the backpack powers a big vibrator that helps the cement settle in fully and gets out the air bubbles )

7:45 am - pouring a floor, the guy with the backpack and wand is using a "dick" which vibrates and helps the cement settle and bring bubbles up to the surface.

so is this building going to be entirely reinforced concrete? I thought it was going to be mostly steel. I know it was posted somewhere that it was steel after the bottom, but with all the forms and utilities for pumping concrete, I seem skeptical about that. Someone please put me in my place on this.

Not nearly as awesome as harryc's in depth mini-documentaries, but I'm throwing them into the mix none-the-less. From today:

Thanks Harry for documenting the rise of this tower (and others ofcourse). This one will definitely help to fill a vertical void in River North!
