hi all..

first off, although i've put in a goodish amount of time into taking these pics, you should all know that they're photos taken by an amateur photographer (me

), using an amateur's camera... so keep your expectations low, and you'll probly enjoy the pics more that way..

i started off with T.Nagar - Chennai's retail and road-side shopping capital..
of course, like with any other part of the city, the biggest and most impressive buildings - both u/c and completed, house IT cos..

this one's Ramaniyam's Oval, occupied by an IT co. called iRevna

the tall bldg in the background is in the next post..

almost completed is the Bascon Tech park - 12/13 flrs.. more s&g for Chennai, so i'm happy..

Kuppu arcade u/c, v. close to the previous 2 buildings.. from the rendering on the board, it looks like it'll be one of Chennai's few architecturally exciting mid-rises when done..

few people who have driven around Panagal Park at peak hour, or during shopping season will believe that this road is nearly 5 lanes wide one-way..

not particularly exciting structures, but examples of how even small bldgs nowadays consider glass, cladding and interesting architecture as necessities..

TVH Belicia Towers, MRC Nagar

seems to have topped out, but finishing work yet to begin..

the entire MRC Nagar skyline u/c..
not quite s'pore, but it's still the best we got.. may as well enjoy it...

for those of you who don't know, the 2 towers to the left are TVH's Beliciaa Towers(13 flrs), the white completed bldg is the Rani Meyammai apartments(10/11 flrs), the single tower u/c behind the criss-crossed bldg is the Times Square bldg(13 flrs when done), and the 2 huge ones on the right are Jains Sagarika(14 flrs) and the Lords apts(17/18 flrs)...
