Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland"?

The point being Northern Ireland is seperate to the United Kingdom and not actually part of it.

Its only seperate geographically, you can't call it 'United Kingdom of Great Britain' because Northern Ireland isn't on the island of Great Britain.

nope. The UK is just the UK, all 4 countries. Great Britain is Scotland, England, and Wales.

okay, I get it. The UK is the joint region of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It makes sense now when I read it and think of it that way.

Thanks.

Your own sentence is kind of proving you wrong there - it shouldn't be read like this:

"The United Kingdom of Great Britain, and Northern Ireland"?

but like this

"The United Kingdom of (Great Britain and Northern Ireland)"?

You see..?

Year, I get it now. Reading it like the two ways you highlighted can mean two different things. I just assumed the first was right, but was evidently wrong. No worries, it's good to learn and be corrected when wrong

you might wanna put 20 Fenchurch as a minum figure of about 180-200+, as we don't really know yet.

EDIT, lol, sorry if it sounded forceful.

You havent looked through the manc threads have you? Crown isnt going to be 131 meters. Its going to have aleast 5-10 more stories. Making it about 150-160 meters.

What's Leeds got ? Where do we start !
The main bullet points are the business and commerce with the largest workforce outside London and Birmingham, and is ranked between 1st and 3rd UK city in most sectors such as legal, financial services, media, construction, manufacturing amongst others. This is combined with a high ranking shopping and good cultural connections with numerous museums, theatres etc. with much more on the way, two of the biggest and most popular universities in the country, and good transport connections.

Leeds was relatively unknown 20 or so years ago and is one of the fastest growing cities over the past ten years, which will continue over the next decade. To our benefit, we are seeing a construction boom with smart high rises along the river and elsewhere in the city (towers up to 32 storeys under construction, over 50 storeys planned), and has seen the replacement or re-clad of virtually all the 60s structures in the city centre making the place look rather smart. It is also a fairly compact city which is encouraging high rise proposals but also makes access to the countryside very easy. This gives a high quality of life here in Leeds, which has little trouble and a friendly feel.

Leeds is definately up with the big league UK cities, and the government have made it one of the 8 core cities (of which Leeds and Manchester were named as having the potential to become major European cities).
