Jadrolinija, (Adriatic Line)- Croatian Ferry Company

Jadrolinija is ferry company based in Rijeka (170 000), Croatia.
Company was established in early 1900's and got present name in early 40's.
It is one of the largest ferry companies in Europe, with over 8.5 million passengers, and 3 million cars transported each year.

Jadrolinija is vital for many Croatian islands as it is only link they have with the outside world.
Jadrolinija fleet consist of 57 large ferries and 15 Hydro Buses and Catamarans.


Fleet:
Sv. Kresevan class, Cres, Supetar, Marijan, Sv. Kresevan, Tin Ujevic + order for 8-10 more ships of this class from local shipbuilder.
Dimensions: 87.7m long, 17.5 wide, Speed: 16.6knts, Displacing: 3200 GRT, Capacity: 100 cars and 700 passengers.

Dimensions: 92.7m long, 18m wide, 3.8 breath, Speed: 16knts, Displacing: 9520 GRT, Capacity: 120 cars and 1000 passengers..

Dimensions: 116m long, 19m wide, Speed 18.5knts. Displacing: 9300 GRT + 2500, Capacity: 280 cars and 1200 passengers..





MS Marko Polo Class: Marco Polo, Dubrovnik
Dimensions: 128.7m long, 20m wide, 5.5 breath, Speed: 19knts, Displacing: 11370 GRT, Capacity: 280 cars and 1200 passengers..








Liburnia Class, Liburnia, Istria
Dimensions: 92.6m long, 16.4m wide, 5.5 breath, Speed: 19knts, Displacing: 4100 GRT, Capacity: 120 cars and 800 passengers..







Ivan Zajc Class
Dimensions: 101.7m long, 16.4m wide, 4.5 breath, Speed: 18knts, Displacing: 5250 GRT, Capacity: 100 cars and 800 passengers..






M/S Lastavo class: . Lastovo, Sis, Valun, Lovrinenac, Mate Balota, Vladimir Nazor, Lubenice, Brestova, Jazine, Sv. Juraj
Dimensions: 72.7m long, 13.7m wide, 3.5 breath, Speed: 16knts, Displacing: 1250 GRT, Capacity: 70 cars and 500 passengers..








Valun is different class, but it is in same category...

Olea, Dubravka, Judita, Zman, Zverinac, Karolina, Novalija,
Dimensions: 41.7m long, 11m wide, 2.7 breath, Speed: 45knts, Displacing: 550 GRT, Capacity: 350 passengers..







Silba, Adriana, Mediteran, Lara
Dimensions: 40.0m long, 10.1m wide, 1.5 breath, Speed: 36knts, Displacing: 470 GRT, Capacity: 320 passengers..




there are about dozen or so other smaller ferries but they are being withdrawn from the service, over next 10-15 years all but largest ferries will be replaced by Sv. Kresevan class of ferries...
