Nice, you quoted my pictures. I am okay with it. Just don't forget to credit me. From the looks of things, it seems that the one shenton is more than likely be officially completed within the next few months.

these slender towers look pretty tall in person. Probably 200-220m?

the taller tower could be 245m i think , since there's a height standard for that area which was set by the gov. Most of the new skyscrapers built there after 2003 have a max height of 245m.

It's shorter then 245m because the Sail is 245m. I think its only 220m-230m.

This building is beautiful I want to visit Singapore so badly but Singapore hates gay people so I won't be going there soon. Either way, I love Singapore. Most beautiful modern Asian city by a mile.

I have been to Singapore twice for turism and had no problems at all , i travel with my partner , we have never been refused to have a double bed in the hotels and people seem to be genuilly nice , so im not sure where your fears come from but i'd definitely advice to just go , i even went to a gay bar n all , so go n visit that city you seem to be really interested in ..

Actually, although it is not fully tolerated, Singapore is quite ok for gay people. As long as you don't have an outrageous behavior in crowded areas, you will have no problem at all here!

You even have a nice gay neighborhood in Tanjong Pagar area with great gay clubs according to my gay friends and colleagues.

Check it out yourself!

Do not be afraid to come to Singapore, even if you're gay. Just don't be so open with your affections with your partner in public. As they say, get a room!
Come and see for yourself the new skyscrapers & infrastructure projects we are building or planning to built. We are a progressive nation of can-do people.

Well, I don't hate gays - just throwing it out there that why you would think like that is probably only because of the laws set. Just be prepared to be judged - just because I'm not, that doesn't mean there aren't still some very closed-minded people here.

Either way, 90% of the Singapore's so-called "beautification" is but to impress tourists only.
