This has nothing to do with "Previous discussions" though, does it. You just wanted to find away to invalidate my argument, sadly you could not find one so you thought you would do it by using a 'discussion' we had LAST YEAR. Pathetic. Very Pathetic. I expect better from you, Coth. You argumentation standards seemed to have slipped.

no offence taken but the layout of the city block to me looks like that of Shanghai....... all the river and tall towers at the edge...

Because I think the tower looks cheap and overall I don't like the look of Moscow architecture. I didnt love Russia tower but personally I think it was MUCH better than this monstrosity . As I have said though there is some I particullarly like, parcel 12 for example. I think that is the best Moscow tower.

Seriously Coth, YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON BRINGING LONDON INTO THIS DEBATE! Get it through your skull that just because this tower is bad you can't blame it on some other city! Leave your personal vendetas out of this thread please, you are starting to ruin it. Grow up Coth. Bye.

I have redone one of the renders and taken away the UFO. It still isnt AMAZING but it is alot better and I certainly would'nt be negative if it was getting built in my city like this (Partly coz the tallest in Newcastle is 80m)

It is a big improvement though.

Umm Coth. That was LAST YEAR. Get over it.

Just because I said that last year does'nt mean i wanted to drag it into this thread. I gave my opinion and not even in my mind did I compare the tower to London. I just said what I thought and then you dragged up something from a thread that no on has posted in since 2005, and tried to use something i said there along time ago to invalidate my current opinion. As I have said in the posts above me that is very childish of you Coth. I just don't like the tower. It has NOTHING to do with my comparisons between Moscow and London architecture in 2005. Now lets put this argument to rest shall we because it is destroying the thread.

No offense, but this new tower kind of looks like a spaceship that has crashed on top of the old russia tower, making this newer tower. Nonetheless without the sapceship thingy... its would be a complete disaster!

I personally are interested in projects all over the world. Don't try and turn this into a Brit bashing thread just because a few of us have posted.

ToR was soooooo much better. Was really looking forward to seeing that being built.

This one is okay... though not as a replacement.... looks like something out of The Jetsons! Also dislike how they've stuck on the Bank of China tower onto the top..

Why do people think this is replacing TOR? where is this written in this thread? No where. Infact coth said TOR was NOT cancelled. Though I don't know why they left it off the rendering...

speaking of this rendering, it's shit. I don't think it's ment to be accurate. I mean, CF is yellow in it.

With a few tweaks and a better rendering, it could be decent. Lose that saucer though please.

This is what Mirax want to replace RT. But this is vision. Still even not proposed. We wating for what ST Group propose for plots 17 and 18.

However. Even if Mirax will successfully get approve for this tower - Moscow authorities could move RT to any other place of Big City. At least there is one another place in Big City which suppose to have ultratall building in few kilometers from IBC.
