Of course it will be ready. But we do not know under what conditions.
The big problem is the pace. Over the past two months the work progressed very little. Just look at the pictures.
Delivering a stadium a few days of the World Cup, with no test event is a huge risk.
So I say again: will have lots of prays

the difference is that Arena Pernambuco could be ready in May/early June. It was built for the CONFEDERATIONS CUP. Stadiums are TESTED in the Confederations Cup.

Arena da Baixada must be ready MUCH EARLIER. They need to TEST THE STADIUM before the World Cup, FIFA needs to train all their teams, etc. Arena da Baixa must be ready at least 2-3 months BEFORE Arena Pernambuco needed to be ready.

So in fact, you should pick photos of Arena Pernambuco as it was in March/April of 2013.

It seems the reverse to me, whilst the main supports were being built things inched along at a very slow pace but now that's been done the pace has picked up a good deal.

A product of the design I spose, most modern stadiums have multiple load baring structures that need to be built more slowly where as Baixada took a more old school route of having it focused on a few more heavy duty sections.

The drainage is the same as the after the works, by gravity (not vacuum), it wasn't changed. The irrigation system is new, similar to the other WC stadiums.

the other stadiums (at least the ones in areas where it rains in the south hemisphere winter) will have vacuum drainage systems.

Arena da Baixada won´t have vacuum drainage, because in the future they plan on building a retractable roof.

The problem is that for the World Cup 2014 they won´t have neither the retractable roof NOR the vacuum drainage. And Curitiba is rainy in the winter. (not as rainy as some cities which have dry/wet seasons... Curitiba rains are more distributed along the year)
