Looks nice anyway.
Roof height of east tower is 360m, so yes it would be.

Well MIRAX won't, they're bankrupt. They'll likely have their projects bought out by Alfa Bank, which will be better in terms of getting this project finished methinks.

They wasn't bankrupts actually, until Alfa bank has bought Mirax obligations from Credit Suisse (with a 75% discount). Something tells me Credit Suisse managers have got a lot in private pockets from this deal. This is hardly a purchase, but hijacking.

But it's also a lessons for other people - don't have any business with Credit Suisse and Alfa.

For sure Alfa won't complete Mirax projects, rather they will resold them few years after. So this will most probably go to On Hold for few years (still U/C atm).
There are also rumors, all renters and space owners could get nothing from Alfa.

Sergei Polonsky posted a letter on his website saying his Mirax Group, which was worth $1.2 billion in 2008, would have to stop all construction.

It came after a court froze the firm's assets for its failure to repay a $242 million loan, putting the brakes on a series of high-profile projects.

Polonsky famously declared in 2008 that "those who don't have a billion, can go to hell."

Even last year he claimed the media should not blow the economic downturn out of proportion. But he has now acknowledged things have changed.

"During the past year, we haven't managed to secure a single loan for construction, and in the past month we haven't sold a single square metre of housing or collected any instalment payments for the real estate we've already sold," he wrote.

Mirax Group is "struggling with the storming seas of the economic crisis" and may not survive, he wrote. "If we are destined to perish, we'll do it with our heads up high".

If their not, then they might take over the crown from the Elite Residence in dubai as the slowest construction. But I do really like these, so I hope that they begin to speed up again.

The only truly secure system is one that is powered off, cast in a block of concrete and sealed in a lead-lined room with armed guards - and even then I have my doubts. Gene Spafford.
I am Basque, not Russian, the "Siberia" thing is a joke.

I love this tower, Moscow is really rising. I think in 10-15 years time, the Russian tower will be back. Then under construction. I did get a source from one of my friends that another developer wants to buy the project. But they're not 100% sure.

Sad, this was going to be my favorite building ever, if constructed. But sadly canceled. :(
It would of been 655m tall or 2184 ft tall. Location would of been of course Dubai.

ANARA WHAT COULD OF BEEN THE MOST AWESOME BUILDING EVER.
