Tbh it looks pretty cool like this, they should just reinforce underneath it and keep it lit as a symbol of Russia. That's an original skyscraper design anyway.

There was 14 workers, and they all were evacuated by firefighters. No casualties.

2 helicopters are used to fight the fire.

I miss those fires in the Moscow sky.

It's going to be a hot summer.

BTW, has anyone blamed Mossad yet? I don't have time to scour RuNet. I guess having one vechny ogon is not enough for the capital.

Oh no!

When I saw the first pic with fire, I first hoped that it was some photoshopped April Fools Day - picture, but unfortunately it's real

That's rather shocking!

Problem is getting water up there as there may not be any riser system in the building that works yet. Also, it's unclear whether the fire will burn itself out once the timber for the slip or (whatever) has burnt - I would guess at that level the building is not yet fitted out yet. Helicopters may be an idea for putting it out.

My guess is that it was caused by a welding torch or something?

Anyhow, the main thing is that everyone got out safely. Lives are more important than property.
