Shots of Valencia

A few pictures of spain's third city, Valencia, wealth of architecture new and old, and an atmospheric old town which is one of the largest remaining historical centres in Europe:

Cathedral:

Roofs, pinnacles and domes in the old city center:

Train Station:

Serranos towers, one of the old medieval gateways to the citity:

Xátiva street:

Túria gardens(placed on the old riverbed):

City hall:

Facades and post-ofice building:

Calatrava's City of the Arts and the Sciences:

Residential buildings:

Cortes avenue area:

That was all at the moment.

According with "European Cities Tourism", the only statistical source that enables tourism indicators to be compared, Valencia is the European city that has shown the most growth in tourism as a whole. You can easily notice this while walking around the historic city center or the "City of the Arts and the Sciences".
