Where is Al Burj on the diagram? Isn't that going to be under construction soon?

Al Burj is not under construction yet and won't be for a good few years. Amazing diagram once again. I don't think there's anything wrong with it being cluttered since it really shows the worldwide boom

im only adding skyscrapers that are actualy UC. if i was to add approved skyscrapers (300m+) there would be another 50.lol
@citystyle. the top 10 floors of taipei 101 are certainly usable and not as small as you think.I think they measure 15m x 15m or 30sqm each.can someone confirm?

The end era for North America and entering the Asian era. If Freedom Tower not built, then probably only Sears will make into the top 10 highest scrapers. Even Toronto Tower will have to give the highest title to Guangzhou Tower or Jakarta Tower eventually.

Looking at the three tallest, it almost looks like SWFC and the International Commerce Centre have a larger floor area than Burj Dubai!! Does anyone know the comparisons??

Burj Dubai is the only one among them, being a primary residential and hotel tower with only 1/3 or maybe less, being offices, therefore it is designed for maximum views rather then maximum floor plate aerea.

I heard about a Bionic tower in Shangai which would be 1000 meters high. Does anybody know something about it?

Bionic tower is 1200m tall. It's a vision in HK's bay not Shanghai. It's proposed by spanish architects.

More info here (Spanish language)

This also explains why so many of Dubai's towers are rather skinny when compared to american srapers, because in Dubai they're mostly residential while here they're mostly commercial.
