Btw, it wouldn't be interesting for a Kievan to visit Belgrade or Belgrader to visit Kiev...in many aspects, its the same city...

The Huge construction is to be the new Seat of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. They now have the head of the Church back in Kyiv. They were in Lviv previously.

"European Square"

European Square. The Project is the winner of the contest on developing the architectural concept of European Square (Kiev) reconstruction, which presupposes the construction of Stolichny office and hotel tower on 5, Kreshchatik street, and a set of objects in the underground space between European Square and Independence Square.

The gross area is 155 080 sqm:
- office and hotel tower – 64 500 sqm;
- underground trade center and parking – 90 580 sqm.

"Park Europeyskiy"

Park Europeyskiy. The Project of the site development, the territory adjacent to the Kiev Central railway station and limited by Starovokzalnaya, Zhylyanskaya and Kominterna streets, and Privokzalnaya square (the site area being ca. 9 hectares), which assumes the creation of the modern district in the city downtown, incorporating the functions of the office-&-hotel and trade-&-entertainment centers. Includes the construction of residential apartments and all necessary infrastructure.

The project gross area is 522 000 sqm, including:
- trade areas (boutiques, shopping-mall, food-courts), logistics center, restaurants, movie, fitness – 110 000 sqm;
- hotels – 22 000 sqm;
- office center – 100 000 sqm;
- day clinics – 10 000 sqm;
- administration – 15 000 sqm;
- underground parkings – 140 000 sqm;
- residential apartments – 125 000 sqm.

ЗАО "Метрика" при поддержке Киевской городской государственной администрации начала реализацию социального проекта по строительству медицинского центра по ул. Мечникова.

Проект предполагает строительство многопрофильного комплекса на земельных участках, которые отведены под это строительство за счет реконструкции Центральной городской клинической больницы, которая находится по адресу: ул. Шелковичная, 39/1. Этот социальный проект реализуется благодаря компании "Метрика", которая инвестирует в него более 100 млн гривен.

Запроектированный медицинский центр состоит из консультативной поликлиники, административно-хозяйственного блока и учебно-лабораторного комплекса.

Первая очередь строительства - это консультативная поликлиника общей площадью более 6,5 тыс. кв. м, рассчитанная на 600 посещений в смену. Административно-хозяйственный блок, площадью 6,9 тыс. кв. м, который будет обслуживать "Октябрьскую больницу" и офисный центр 15-30 этажей, площадью 43,4 тыс. кв. м.

Площадь нового медицинского центра будет почти вдвое больше той, которую занимала старая поликлиника, на месте которой он строится. Современные здания медицинского центра и офисного центра создадут единую градостроительную композицию и впишутся в общий архитектурный ансамбль улицы Мечникова.

Во вторую очередь будет строиться учебно-лабораторный комплекс, площадью 4,8 тыс. кв. м, для занятий студентов-медиков и повышения квалификации работающих врачей.

Общая площадь всей застройки - 128 617 кв. м, стоимость всего проекта - 535 млн гривен.

Инвестор планирует реализовать вторую часть проекта после строительства социально значимого объекта - современного медицинского центра. Это значительный вклад в развитие здравоохранения в Киеве. Начать строительство поликлиники планируется уже в мае этого года. Строительство первой очереди планируется закончить через 20 - 22 месяца.

Компания "Метрика", благодаря которой стала возможной реализация социального проекта, работает на рынке Украины с 2004 года, и уже зарекомендовала себя как надежный и серьезный партнер, способный работать с крупными проектами на высоком технологическом уровне.

The growing cluster, you can see the two towers u/c right now, one more approved and these two proposals, one of which we dont have much info about, but it looks to be above 70floors high.

Here is a look on "Parus" which is almost completed and a rendering of a proposed hotel on the right. You can also see construction sight of another tower there, with green fence.
